Yesterday, I had cleaned up all my disks somehow because of some virus attack. However, this morning, I suddenly realized there were some important files. Is that possible to recover these files back? How could I do next? :bounce:

Solution
Have you write anything new on this cleaned disk?
You could try a disk recovery freeware to get back your files as long as you have not put anything new on this drive to rewrite the original data. The rewritten data can be gone forever.
As to this freeware, it is really free and efficient since it has helped me recover all of my photos, videos, music and files after accidental format. It can help you, too. Go try it!
Tips for you:
1. Do not store any new data on this drive to avoid the original data overwritten by new data.
2. Do not save the recovered data on the same drive in case of recovery failure.
3. Do not forget to back up your important data before you do any change to it in the future.

Thanks that I restored all erased data off my western digital drive.

I thought I have lost all my photos together with other data on my disk after a cleaning up. Fortunately I come across this forum and found the freeware pretty easy to use and the most important - it restored my erased files, photos, and other data.

Your disks are infected by virus, so you'd better use an anti-virus software to scan your hard disks to make sure that virus is killed. You can use Microsoft Security Essential or AVG free, download them from link below
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-SG/windows/security-essentials-download
http://free.avg.com

After making sure that the hard disks are clean, you can use data recovery software to scan hard disks and recover your lost data. Asoftech data recovery is good. You may refer to this guide
http://www.asoftech.com/articles/recover-windows-deleted-files.html

If your files are still not shown, it is possible that the files are hidden, so you may try to show hidden files. See this step by step guide
