Hello,

Does anyone know how to reduce motion detection false positives on Xiaovv 1080P WiFi USB Mini-Cam?
I use V380 Pro Android application and can't find option that let's me adjust sensitivity.

Thanks.

Solution
Motion detection is notoriously hard to get right.

Even on good cameras, where you can adjust it.

I have a pair of very nice outdoor security cameras.
Cloud shadows on the grass, neighbors flag waving, cars going by at night. birds, etc, etc.

Even adjusting is hard. A distant human is pretty much the same size as a closer cat.
@Ralston18 @Alabalcho No option to adjust motion sensitivity. Technical support told me to reinstall app but it didn't make any difference.

I compared images triggered by false alarm and see that the only difference is lighting. I think that when camera adjusts exposure the changes in lighting trigger false positives.

I didn't need serious camera. Just something inexpensive and small enough to make it harder to be noticed.
