How to remouve a picture from window xp desk

I saved a picture from an e-mail and it appeared in the center of my XP desktop and whatever wallpaper I use the picture is in the center with no way to remove it. Any idea how???

So when you change the Background image, it does change, but with an overlay of this other picture over it?

Try to turn off active desktop, steps are here http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000593.htm

If that is already off, search for a file called desktop.htt (make sure you enable search in hidden files) and delete it. Reboot and see what happens.

I find the solution on the desktop options is a button “customize desktop” that take me to desktop items and there is 2 tabs, one general and one web, there I find the link to the picture, I remove it and the picture was gone. Thank you for your message :
