How to remove a wizard

Hello,
I have a video controller wizard icon,then its attendant box appearing, and I don't have a disc, know what hardware its recognising, or care.I just want to disable it because it stops me accessing my pc right away, -any ideas,anyone?

There's an old saying, "Be careful of what you pray for, you might just get it."

To solve what you perceive as a problem, do this:

Start>Run>Services.msc>Shell Hardware Detection (double-click it)

In the box labeled "Startup Type" change to "Disabled."

When you start your computer, it will never bother you again about found new hardware.
