How to remove raid configuration from drives

Hello,
I recently flashed the BIOS on my ASUS M2V motherboard and lost the RAID 0 settings for a while. The computer would not boot until I figured out how to reconfigure the BIOS to be able to see the RAID 0 array again. So, that's fine, but my plan now is to install a new hard drive for the OS and upgrade to Windows 7. The new HD is coming tomorrow and I won't be using RAID this time. The question is: I would like to re-use the two older physical drives that are currently configured into a RAID 0 array -- probably as spare data drives. Is there anything special I need to do to them before I unplug them and install the new drive and OS?

Can you go back the BIOS and breal/delete the RAID0?

Use DISKPART utilty to clean it, after you install the OS

Are your current drives still in RAID 0 mode? If yes, move any files you want onto an external drive, and break the RAID in BIOS or simply switch SATA mode back to AHCI. If not, then you might want to reconfigure a RAID 0 mode for your current drives first, and get the files you want onto an external drive, then break the RAID in BIOS. After that, you can install your new hard drive and it won't be in RAID 0 mode. And no, you don't need any special programmes before you break the RAID link.
