How to remove stand Gateway FHX2300 LCD Monitor

I bought this monitor refurbished and wanted to attach a wall mount to it but i just cant figure out how to remove the stand already attached to it. Any ideas?

Since the manual gives no help (I found a copy online), I suggest you start by looking for hidden screws - there could be some near the "neck" of that stand, under that panel I see about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, or there could even be some only accessible from the bottom of the stand.

Did you ever figure out how to get the stand off? I am running into the same problem myself.

if you push in the tab shown on the neck of the base on the back of the neck, then pull on the bottom of the base, the bottom of the base will pull out and the screws will become accessible.
