how to remove unresponsive script ?

I use firefox for many years, the last 6 months , I have issues with pop up "unresponsive script"
it slows down my pages, sometimes it's frozen..
how to get rid it off this warning ?
i did try about:config
but it didn't help

Is firefox up to date? What site are you having issue with? could be your pc can't handle the script.
