Microsoft says I am infected with internet trojans but want me to pay them $398/year for a firewall and removal...not likely. need some help

tried CMD SC Delete
tried Regedit edit delete

not effective so far

Format/reinstall from scratch , stay away from those sketchy websites and don't go installing software from dubious sources. And, as above, Microsoft doesn't do that. That was the scammer trying to dupe you out of your money.

Following through on that, he'd be triply screwed.


Call the number to get this eradicated.
The rep gets permission to log on to your system to eradicate.
1. Pay the $398.
2. He then scoops all the passwords and other juicy stuff he can from your system.
3. He also implants an actual malware or trojan.
