how do i share posts that i find from other profiles directly to my profile and not stories on instagram? i want to be able to do both at the same time and separately.

You should ask this question on Instagram. I can understand your coming here since it's a top shelf tech support site, but tech support like what is offered around here by volunteers, is usually hardware and software (Application and OS) based. It is not geared towards supporting questions on social media sites. Asking on Instagram will be answered by users of Instagram and is likely to be a lot more accurate and insightful.

Actually contacting Instagram, would be a good place to start, but contacting other users will probably result in finding an actual answer.
