Question How to tell if my Motherboard is bad?

Acer Aspire V3-572g My laptop will light up like it is charging when I have the battery in, it will also light up as if it is going to power on but shuts down after a few seconds. I replaced the power button as a first solution, the DC power jack seems to be working fine. I did the process of elimination taking the ram out, hard drive out, wifi card out and tried to power up it still powers on for a few seconds and then shuts off.

Cant say for certain wasn't my laptop but it was pretty much always kept charged.
