Question How to transfer information off an m.2 ssd to another m.2 ssd

I have an m.2 ssd, 250 gig. I don't WANT to upgrade, or NEED to upgrade, I was just thinking. What if I do need to get another SSD, my mobo has only one slot for an m.2 ssd, if I were to get another ssd, should I get like the regular ssd, like the flat one that sticks to the back of the mobo?

There is software out there that will transfer the data for you. For ex, Samsung has software on their site you can download for free to do what your're needing.
