Hello,
I have two same rams but with different mhz 1 is 1600mhz and the other is 1866 mhz and i want to underclock my 1866mhz ram because my pc hardware reservers my 1866 mhz ram and i need more ram because i multi task alot and i don't really care about WEI.Any help would be appreciated.
they're Kingston hyper x fury black 8 gb both with different mhz

you must have something in the bios setting the reserved memory. if the two sticks work normally, it is probably auto down=clocking the faster stick

read the msi forums

do those things and see if you can unreserve the memory

try running with only one stick at a time, if they both work alone and not together, well, that's what you get for mixing ram

it's most likely because your mix of ram isn't going to work, which was already made known to you. expect this behavior when you step out of bounds. only use KITS purchased as a KIT

maybe if i update the bios
it will work because i rememeber i had 16gb back then and i switched to 1 stick for about a month and than i wanted more gb and now it doesn't work.. ill try updating bios but i doubt it will work
