[SOLVED] How to update my MOBO BIOS firmware?

Hi guys.
I have a doubt, I have a notebook with a Intel Celeron N3160 processor running at 1.6 GHz but I see that it has a 2.24 GHz Burst Frequency that can be activated with a Turbo Boost option that can be activated in BIOS but I dont have this option in my BIOS firmware so I was wondering how can I update my motherboard BIOS firmware.

I just want to update my MOBO BIOS firmware to activate Turbo Boost option to make my Intel Celeron N3160 processor run at 2.24 GHz.

The only useful information there is that the BIOS is made by American Megatrrends. There are gazillion motherboards with AMI BIOS, and I can't see any info about who made the motherboard, or your PC, so you should find this information somehow. Look for labels / imprints on the motherboard itself.

On top of that - don't expect miracles from that CPU when you make it run at 2.16GHz instead of 1.6GHz. That 40% boost in CPU frequency won't give you 40% boost in FPSs, or improve performance by 40%.

And finally - if that option is not available in your BIOS (plenty of OEM computers don't have it), it is unlikely it will be available by BIOS update either.

Again - you need to know manufacturer of your mothrboard, and then look for BIOS update.

There are many apps which show current CPU frequency, starting with Windows' Task Manager, Performance tab,
