Updating the BIOS is always a risk of bricking it.
You do it exactly how the motherboard manufacturer says to, no exceptions. And you only do it if really needed.
I thing my motherboard
z170x gaming 5 comes with dual bios right ??
if yes if something goes wrong during update how to recover from the second bios ??
yes I checked my motherboard is GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS™ Technology
No mate - doesn't matter - the newly flashed bios will be default settings though.
If you have custom settings in your bios save it as a profile (your board should allow this)
The profile will still be there after a bios update & you can re-enable it .
update :
I updated my bios to f3 without any proplems
wow during the bios update I was shaking when I saw a message in red say
DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER
MY COMPUTER IS WORKING GOOD AND STABLE NO PROPLEMS .
THANKS EVERYONE .
