I have the following:

1 x Add2PSU adapter(generic type, no photo)
2 x PSU(Seasonic Prime Ultra gold @750W. Total wattage output for 5v = 100W@20A per PSU)

1 x Mobo socketed to other components(CPU, M.2 NVME, RAM, PWM fans, AIO)
1 x GPU(8-pin)

3 x addressable led strips@40cm(5v 3pin)= 51.84w requirement

1 x addressable led strip@100cm(5v 3pin)= 43.2w requirement

1 x addressable led panel(5v 3pin)= 19.2w requirement(no photo)

18 x coolermaster Adressable led fans(5v 3pin)= 43.2w requirement

I'm connecting all my ARGB components to a 5v output device accepting up to 10 connections each.

which is then combined into a single splitter and joined to the single ARGB header on my MOBO for signalling transduction. The devices themselves are powered directly by the 4pin molex connected to the PSU

A single led light = 0.3W consumption(was informed by LED strips supplier)

1 Coolermaster Masterfan = 8 led lights(I asked CM support on Twitter)

Total 5v wattage requirements from Addtessable led components alone = 157.44W

My question is:

How do I safely and correctly connect the components to the PSUs? Do I split half of the Argb fans + strips to each of the PSUs?

I bought an extra PSU to support my heavy 5v usage for my Adressable led needs, not mining. A single, conventional PC PSU do not have the sufficient wattage output for supporting 5v usage-heavy systems.

My case is being modded at the workshop for creating an extra intake vent to accomodate my 2nd PSU at the bottom. So I want to get everything right before I bring it home.

As this concerns whether I'm gonna set my room on fire, I am seeking answers only from knowledgeable peeps.

Thanks.

You can pick up a dual PSU adapter so they both turn on with the same power button.

It's always recommended using a much larger power supply then using two individual ones obviously, but if you don't then powering your motherboard, harddrives, gpus off of one is still ideal if at all possible. You can use the second PSU to power the LED strips exclusively as well as any fans that run off molex or that don't require being powered directly off a motherboard.

Let me just add, it's always buyer beware when purchasing 'adapters' 2 out of 4 adapters are usually faulty, regardless of types. I always buy adapters in pairs to have a backup.
