So a little while ago I ordered the standard RGB LED light strip, by Tingkam. I put these on the back of the desk I had at the time, which was only around 1.5m long and the LED strip was 5m long so I have around 3.5m left. It has now been over a year since then and recently I got a new desk and the LED lights had pretty much lost all the stick but I still had some left so I thought I could just use them not thinking about how I'd connect them to power. So now I find myself with the remainder of the strip of LED lights, the controller, and the AC Power block. The only thing I am missing is the little thing that connects the AC Power block to the actual LEDs. I had that part before but lost it, and presumably it's been thrown out. When I did have it I did not understand how to connect the end of the LED strips to the connector part though, when I got the strip there was an attachment at the end that you plugged the connector into, but when you cut the strip there obviously isn't another connector there? I tried taking the connector out of the old strip and putting it into the new one but that badly failed. I'd rather find a solution to this rather than spending another £17 on a new strip. I have seen that connector part on Amazon for around £2 so I could easily buy that since I know that is needed and it's not a big investment. Basically my question is: how do I connect my cut LED strip to that connector to power it and get a signal from the controller?
