How to utilize Windows that came with laptop after switching to Linux?

This was really hard to explain with the title but I'll explain it better here. Basically, I bought a laptop a few years ago that came with Windows 7 which I upgraded to Windows 10. Now the computer is getting older and I would like to run a lighter Linux distribution so the PC is faster. I want to know if there is anything I could give the Windows that came with my laptop to somebody else on the Internet for free since I no longer want it.

No, the OS is tied tot he equipment it came with.... will not work on other hardware
