[SOLVED] How to wipe my hard drive

I recently picked up a junk school computer and I decided that I was going to try to salvage the hard drive, but the computer was locked, I can't log in.

Is there a way to wipe this hard drive?

Remove the drive, connect it to some other system, and delete all partitions.

Or, boot from whatever OS USB install you have, and install something. Wiping all partitions in the process.

I tried to plug it into another computer but it tells me to sign in, I can't because I don't know the password...

As a secondary drive, not try to boot from it.

No clue, all I know is it is a seta 250gig

250gb isn’t very big. In fact you can buy a new ssd drive about the same size for about 30-40 bucks. So don’t spend too much time unless you just are tinkering.

Plug it into another computer and press the boot menu key on boot. Select YOUR jard drive from the boot list, not the School Computer's.

Alternatively, you can create a windows 10 installation media and delete the partitions from there.

I'd recommend you to install a new hard disk or SSD in that computer. 250 Gig HDD is not so good these days.
