How to wipe secondary drive (non os)

Hello im aware there are many threads being posted however i admit im not exactally that good with computers (can build my own pc thats really it)

Basically i just installed windows 10 on my ssd thats fine and everything else is gone however my hdd is full of rubish i will never use and i am happy to wipe all of it however i am consfused on how i go about this

Will simply reformating wiping it work or would it crash the computer in other words can i simply reformat it just like that and reset it or what else should i do thanks for all awnsers!
(its filled with many things that i cant uninstall even with the likes of iobit uninstall and using commands hence why i am simply wiping it)

All help would be apreciated !!!!

Just format the partition(s) that are on it if you are going to use it again for storage.

You can format it's partition(s) from within Windows 10.

Thanks however I am still confused being the person I am when you say format its portions dose that allow you to wipe the whole drive? Thanks!

Before you do anything, disconnect the hard drive and verify that windows will boot without it.
By default, windows tries to put a hidden 100mb recovery partition on a second drive.

If you boot ok without it, you could just delete any folders you do not want.
Or, you could use windows storage services to delete all partitions on the drive.

Sadly i can boot without it connected however as i said i have files i cant delete even using advanced uninstall tools for example iobit uninstaller i simply cant

So is there any chance you could explain to me how you use the service to delete all the partitions?

Okay well i looked at that partoin thing and it wont let me allocate any more data than whats free so basically its not doing anything unless i am doing the completley wrong thing which i probally am but oh well.

On windows 7( I do not know how to navigate on 10):
Go to control panel/administrative tools/computer management/storage/disk management
You should see a reserved 100mb partition, do not touch that.
You should be able to delete other partitions.

However it dosent seem to let me delete partitoins simply shrink them which has a limit.

Thanks got it storted aprently the reaosn i couldnt delete it was a rare bug involved in windows 10 reinstalled it and it worked no clue why but thanks everyone
