Can someone shed light on how well this laptop will run GTA V (low, medium, high settings) and how many fps?

i7-720QM 1.6GHz - 2.8GHz (Turbo Boost)
8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 5650

Thanks

U don't need to worry about it yet.

If gta v is well optimized, u may be able to run it in medium-low settings fine.

Usually laptops dGPU cannot meet minimum requirements for big titles but most of the time they could run games fine, providing that if your dGPU is a mid range

or google "can i run this"

minimum specs are core 2 quad q8800 @2.4Ghz 4gb ram and hd4870

recommended are

Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs)

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB

Both system requirements lab and game-debate tell me that I can't run several games that can actually run reasonably well on my laptop. I just want to know how far I am from minimum specs and if that's a true indicator of whether or not this laptop can play GTA V.

Absolutely, I put in all the details. I have a 17.3" screen and my resolution is 1600x900. Even at 1366x768 they say it won't run. I know my GPU is the weakest link, but I'm fine with playing on low settings and a decent frame rate.

To be honest, it's not the most pleasant experience. It is playable on lowest settings, but expect frequent drops in frame rates. I average 20-25 fps on lowest settings at 1600x900 with V-sync turned off. You'll get higher frame rates at lower resolutions. If you have the HP dv7 like me, your CPU will reach very high temperatures without a cooling pad. I would hold off on buying a copy unless you have a better PC to play on.

Let me know if you have anymore questions!
