I bet the RNG will just be too happy to stop generating any food at all in
order to compensate the earlier luck. She will manage to get to the arena
and starve to death while asking the ratling traders to give her some food.

Well, i had to make the dump somehow? 😉 Anyway, no. I did not keep the
safe, and read a blessed scroll of Identify beforehand, so i wouldn't gain
anything from it either.

I got to the arena level before starving... did not reach the ratlings,
though. How did you know that?

Doubtless the best race/class combo in the game! Do you perchance read
Drowtales?

I currently have a (female) Dark Elven Necromancer with some spoily
equipment (The amulet you had. A ghul dropped it.) on Lv 16. Also, a
certain very spoily green death-stick, and another weapon that will make
steel golems _really_ easy.

Well yesterday I had a good tea, I examined the tea leaves and they told
me: A hungry lady is going to meet betting ruffians. The only explanation
possible was the arena. 🙂
One could also have argued that this is what happened to me once and that
the RNG is sometimes missing the RANDOM bit but of course this is
ridiculous.

Stopped about a year ago.

Honestly it was just to do something different from the Monks and
Beastfighters i normally play.

There are game commands to create logfiles without having to quit first.
If you're using the default keymapping, press '(' for a short and ')' for
a long logfile.

And once more, i learnt something new. (And wasted a perfectly good scroll
of ID) Thanks. Next time, i'll do that.

Well, the full log also tells you your intrinsics (which would require a
blessed potion of insight to get to know in-game, and even then I'm not
sure they're always accurate), and which artifacts have been generated,
which can't be discovered in-game.
But since you already wrote you wouldn't do it again, I guess that's
OK 🙂

Damn you! That happened to me just the
other day. I'd, uh...

Spoily...

spoily...

Yeah, yeah...

I'd... hmm...

There we go. I grabbed the wrong blanket in the SMC,
and had no cloak, so when it rained I hung out and
got precrowned a couple times in the VD, running
naked to Terinyo for food. After a while, the rain hadn't
let up, the food store hadn't restocked, and I was getting
nervous. Still cloak-less, I ducked back into the SMC,
burned some scrolls of teleport getting the proper blankie
and getting to the UD, then ran screaming through, burning
all my brownie points on food prayers and finally buying
out the shoppie's food in the HMV.

That took me to the Arena, where I in fact died from
starvation after chatting with one ratling.

(My own damn fault - stocked with food and becloaked,
I sidetracked so far as the old barbarian after leaving
the HMV.)

Cheers --
