How will this rig perform in gaming?

Hey, Mike2012 here. Currently, I have a Pentium Dual Core E6700 @ 3.2ghz. It's alright for gaming, but not that great.

So I got like $300 for Christmas and found a cheap desktop for $300 with a Intel Pentium G630 in it.

So how would this rig perform in gaming and would I see better results than with the old Pentium Dual Core?

OS: Windows 7
GPU: HD 7750
CPU: Intel Pentium G630
RAM: 4GB

If it helps, some games that I play are Black Ops II, Civilization V, Mass Effect 3, Sonic Generations and Battlefield 3.

It does have a higher average cpu mark. it would perform better. Enough to spend $300 on not sure. You have a PC that plays them now. So I would say keep saving your money and buy something nice. Something you know for sure will play your games at high settings.

It would play games on medium settings at 1080p resolution. At high settings on lower resolution.

Looks like a nice deal, though.

Windows 7: $80
HD 7750: $90
CPU: $60
RAM: $20
Motherboard: $40 (probably)

And that's $290 without the PC case, power supply unit and hard drive. You couldn't find a better deal for sure.

Yeah, I can "play" them, but a lot of them need a stronger CPU due to being console ports.

Also, how does the G630 compare to the i3? If I save up for another week or so, I could get an i3 PC, but is it worth the extra money?

The computer with the G630 cost like $329.99(About $355 with the tax added).

The computer with the i3 cost about $359.99(About $385 with the tax added).

My budget right now is like, $393, but I want to have a little bit of money left over for other things too, so I might just get the G630.

Actually, i3 is quite a bit faster. Not only it's higher clock speed, but also has hyperthreading.

Hmm, well based on my budget, I think I'll go with the Pentium G630 desktop. As long as I can get better performance in console ports, it should be okay.

Here's the one I'm trying to get:

Also, will this case be big enough to fit a full size graphics card in it based off the screenshots?

Wait a second, that PC isn't that good of a deal at all. It's missing a graphics card. With a graphics card, it would cost $400+ and you'd most likely have to upgrade the power supply unit. Plus, the case is very small.

What would you feel about this one instead?
