So I have 2 monitors; one that's connected to my computer and the other connected to my consoles (Switch and PS4). What I'm trying to do is see if I can take the audio that plays from my console monitor over to my computer so that way I can hear my console games through my headphones instead of having the audio play through my monitors speakers. I hope that makes sense? I can re-explain if needed.
So my question is, how would I do this? Also please explain to me like I'm 8 because I don't know much about plugging audio cables in. I thought I could just plug in the headphones jack on the monitor since that other jack is audio in and headphones jack means audio out, right? Then I plugged that into the back of my pc in the blue jack cause I think that's line in? I don't know if anyone of you can explain how I can do this but please let me know. I feel like it's not that complicated or hard to do.
