HP 9100i 8x4x32

On my computer my burner (above) has the dma box unchecked in device manager. Should this be checked or not. I don't want to do anything stupid.

Yes - it increases performance a little bit. I had the same drive until I upgraded to a Plextor 12/10/32A and gave the HP to my sister.
If you have any wierd problems with your drive then uncheck it. It worked fine for me with DMA checked.
