I have gone to the HP website they want to charge me also? any other suggestions?

The drivers should be free. However the new drivers might have ads to purchase ink or paper from hp. There might also be a software suite you can buy. The basic drivers are free though.

HP dont charge you. you are on the wrong site. drivers are always free. go to the HP site as directed by area51.
