How much extra does it cost to replace the curved monitor with one that doesn't focus all the glare in the room directly into my corneas?

Seriously though, why is every company suddenly trying the curved monitor gimmick? I thought it had failed pretty conclusively when TVs tried it - plus these monitors don't even have the benefit of being OLED.

Curved monitors aren't the same as curved TVs. You did nearly immediately in front of it, and when you do it feels much more natural than a flat, especially in the ultrawide arena.

Yes, I have a flat ultrawide display and the short distance to the display does create an illusion of a spherical surface. My next display will definitely be curved.

Ultrawide curved monitors are great. The concept works very well.
