I'm looking at purchasing a LCD for personal use. My room at school is quite small and the LCD would be easier to transport than a CRT as well. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in using the 2 monitors I listed in the subject with any higher end games or video apps. I know my quality will dip vs. a CRT, but as long as I can get minimal ghosting effects, I should be able to live with it. Any recommendations on either of these two models, or is their another option that is in the same price range that is preferable? I chose these 2 mainly because of the reviews on Tom's site here and on some gaming sites that I happened to stumble on that praised the Solarism. Thanks for any input!

Hmm, both aren't too great. The hp doesn't have the best of viewing angles, and its response time is kinda high. The solarism is super bright- 800cd/m^2, and that's just blinding. IMO, go w/ a eizo l365, which u can get real cheap from dell.

My frog asked me for a straw...dunno what happened his ass all over the place 😱
