[SOLVED] HP LAPTOP NOT RECOGNIZING BOOT USB

Trying to install windows on a HP laptop...when I boot pressing f9 my usb drive doesn't appear. I can't find the boot menu when I enter f10 bios menu.

I've tried all three usb ports and I know it is a good bootable usb drive as I've used it twice this week.

Please help. b

Found the boot options in bios, but they are cd-rom, floppy boot?, internal network adapter boot. My USB drive flashes once or twice, so I know the ports have power.

Quite possible that USB Boot is not supported by your laptop.
