Hp laserjet 4 network setup

I am adding the old trusty hp lj4 onto my network. I have a jet direct card in this unit. I manual go through the setup of TCP\IP cfg. My network is 192.168.1.1,,, I manually set the lj4 to
IP BYTE = 192.168.1.1
SM BYTE = 255.255.255.0
LG BYTE = 192.168.1.1
GW BYTE = 192.168.1.1

Power it back up and no printing. Since I also can not ping the 192.168.1.112
I figured I must have something dorked up.. help

You set the printer IP to same thing as your router? Need to change that to something not in use on the network. .10 should be safe.
