Hi
I recently got myself the new 30" LP3065, and would like to know if it is possible to use it as an HDTV to display 1080p content, and specifically, if it can be used as a display for a PS3.
I know it only has DVI inputs, but ANY method, ex. routing the video thru a PC will also be an alternative I'm willing to look at.
Do you get "converter" plugs/cables from HDMI to DVI?
Thx for replies.
PS, I noticed that when playing FPS games on this monitor that there is a slight "graining" effect when the scene "moves", but as soon as you stop panning around, within a fraction of a second, the scene is re-drawn and the "graining" disappears. It's not really an issue, I was just wondering if this is inherent of the panel, or if my 7900gs is battling to keep up at these high resolutions. I notcie the same thing when dragging a window with text accross the screen; the text is completely unreadable at anything faster than a snails' pace.
If this is due to the panel refresh/response time; are there any other 30" panels that perform better? I looked at the Dell and Apple, and decided on the HP ( guess I shoulda done this kind of research before I bought heh?)
