Spec:
CPU: i5 6300HQ (turbo 3.2GHz)
GPU: GTX 960m
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB 2400MHz (operating at 2133MHz because BIOS)
PSU: Original HP 125W PSU

So i have this laptop and when i try to run a stress test i get around 2,8GHz on all cores, i cant get to 3,2GHz declared on Intel webiste, the temperature is low (around 65~ *C).

I tired to turn it off using 3-rd party programs like ThrottleStop but i can't, also the VRM looks like it can power this CPU on full power.

I want to have higher speed because of i play mostly on CPU games like Rust when i have large map its stuttering or something.
Thanks for help :3

Solution
3.2GHz is single core only. When running multiple cores, that number goes down. Stress tests or games like Rust using all cores will put you at 2.8GHz.

Its behaving perfectly normal according to loads, temps and voltages.

Higher speeds doesn't mean anything if the higher voltages required to run all those cores at max turbo also jack up the temps into throttle ranges.

It's working normally, there's nothing to fix.
