Question HP Pavilion 22xi screen flashing white red green blue

I have an HP Pavilion 22xi monitor, where when i turned it on it immediately started flashing white, red, green and blue. None of the onboard buttons seem to do anything except say “key 2 pressed key pass”.
How can I fix this?

I have HP Pavilion 22xi. Instead of normal display the monitor is displaying red, green and blue colors in succession and none of the lower control buttons are working. Kindly help me to correct this problem.

Does the monitor ever display correctly? Like, when you turn it on does any splash screen or menu come up, etc.?
Does this happen regardless of being plugged into a graphics output or after power on at all times?
