You just use the recovery disk for whatever operating system is on thay computer. If it's win 7, then just pop a windows 7 install disk in and it will give you the option to reformat pc to new

Edit: Windows update after wil find the drivers for your computer as long as you can hardwire it to your modem/router or use a sub to install the wirless adapters for you laptop

Hello... 1) You need to get all the Driver and hardware information First... Lan/wifi/audio/sata/chipset from the Windows device manager... And research replacement drivers for a NON OEM OS install... drivers can be hard to find for the Chips used in these MB's.
2) You can order replacements from HP.
3) You can find replacements on EBAY.
