Hi,

I would like to know how I can setup that scanner so that the Scanner and Camera
Wizard would appear in the list of choice when I press any of the from buttons

I that is not possible, how can I disable those same buttons

If the scanner was installed with XP's plug&play feature it will probably not
show up under Control Panels Scanners and Cameras nor the Desktop until
activated. Within your graphics program you should have File/Acquire/Select
source or something like that feature to select your choice. A full
installation of your scanner will place icons on your desktop for access.

If I use the buttons all I get is the worse scanner program ever design, HP
Director, I wish to use the Scanner and Camera Wizard, but even if I setup the
scanner event in the control panel, I get everything BUT Scanner and Camera
wizard.

BTW If I don't install the damn program the scanner will not work, and when I
install the scanner program, the I can not use the settings as they are somehow
disabled, and HP says that because of XP
