HI all, I am running

HAF 922 case, M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 Corsair CMPSU-650HX 650w HX Series 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply. Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive.CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB ( 2 X 2GB ) PC3-10666 1333MHz 240-pin DDR3 CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit - TW3X4G1333C9DHX AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8 GHz,Sapphire HD 6850 1GB DDR5.

MY problem is like so many owners of this board I get random BSOD ,no boot MemOK lights staying on, etc.

I tried everything on nearly every forum and it works good for a while then starts to act up again.

I decided to release the HSF that came with the processor, release I mean by unhooking it from the base and since then my problem went away.

I would like to know if the HSF is pressing down to hard on the processor causing the boot problem?

It fits on really tight even turning the latch does not release the HSF,I have to manually pull it down from the base plate.

After releasing it it booted up with no problems.

I now have to have the tower lying down so the processor will not fall off .

Thanks for your reply ,I tried what you said and i did not have to use as much force as before so i will monitor the booting process and see if it persists.

But for now it is clipped on and was done without the force I used before .

Thank again for the suggestion.
