put cd or dvd in drive and it doesnt read cd odvd.Just stays green for a little while and then blicks and goes out.

Since you already tried a few different disks, you can try to remove and re-install the drive from Windows (delete from Device Manager, reboot the PC), try to re-seat the cables, and lastly, replace the drive.
