So i switched from galaxy a7 2018 to huawei p smart an i noticed that gyroscope on huawei is really delayed and slow in pubg mobile and anything else related to gyroscope so does anybody know how to fix that because things like playing games with gyroscope or watching vr is really bad expirience.
In some games, specially driving games, there is a setting to either use screen buttons or the gyroscope and i find that manual control actually works better. Make sure you are playing with the right settings.
If you want to check the sensor is working or not, there are tons of apps on play store to do that, CPU-X or CPU-Z for example.
Watching VR is bad because just having gyro isn't the only thing that matters.
The phone also needs to have a high resolution display. At the least 1080p, because the video is actually splitted in to half the resolution, which means if your phone has a FHD display, you'll get 540p output and if QHD display, then 720p output.
The problem with the model is not the speed frame (FPS) or the resolution, but the gyroscope is really delayed and slow. CPU-Z shows a delay when testing the gyroscope.
On several devices I've had success with using the "rotate through all the axes of rotation" method mentioned here: https://vrgames30.com/how-to-calibrate-gyroscope/
It's hard to describe, and many phones have graphics for doing same in their built-in calibration routine, and it generally involves doing a figure 8 in the air repeatedly while rotating the phone during the process.
