Hi there! Im new here. I just wondering why my Acer Nitro have huge FPS drop here since the gpu and cpu temps are quite low (at 70c at max)
My specs are
Intel Core i5-13420H
16GB RAM 2x8GB DDR5
RTX 4050 @75Watt

The first image is running well at Ultra 1080p 60+ fps and temps its not that bad, tdp is running around 60-70 watt
The second image fps drop so much to low 20, and temps is not above 80, but it seems getting throttled to 35 watt or something.
Is that throttling or what? If so, what can cause this issue, since the temps are normal i dont think this is thermal throttling, what should i do guys? have any idea?
This problem also occured on other game, like RDR2, TLOU and etc.

try lower the detail
yep, ive done that before, when fps drop occured. i tried to lower all graphics to the lowest and somehow still no different, i got the same low fps, like 20. but before it can run it smoothly at ultra. thats odd. and same for the others game. fps drop, lowering graphics quality, no different.

by any chance, if we take a look from cpu usage when fps dropping, the cpu usage is quite low (20%). is that why my gpu are not using full power?

that mean the cpu is waiting on the gpu
im still learning about hardware btw, and this bottleneck issue are complicated for me. my cpu is waiting for my gpu> while my gpu is being throttled to low tdp (35 watt)? am i right?

That's easy, the GPU only has 6GB of VRAM, so once you hit this limit it's performance crashes. The only solution is to lower textures and/or don't use raytracing.
after i tried lowering all texture it doesnt affect the fps. keep in mind, i can run this game at ultra before. it also happen on other game, works fine, and suddenly fps drop with no thermal problem, lowering setting doesnt work
