Hi, i have a problem that my fps in cs:go drops from 300 to 150 for a while then comes back to normal and then drops again and comes back and so on. I don't know what to do. Things i've done:

- checking temps (they are ok)
- installing latest drivers
- flashing to latest bios
- checking ssd and hdd health

Here are my pc specs:

cpu i3 8100
gpu msi gtx 1050ti
mb gigabyte b360m ds3h
psu: xfx xt 600w
ram: crucial ballistix 2x8gb 2400mhz
ssd: samsung 860evo 250gb
hdd: toshiba p300 1tb
system: windows 10 home 64bit

Set vSync on and match the refresh rate of your monitor. 120-144Hz is plenty for CS:GO. And even if your GPU is pushing 300 FPS, your monitor isn't displaying that many. So it's a complete waste for no benefit and will only overheat/throttle your GPU constantly running at 100%.

Vsync increases input lag as far as i know so i won't enable it because i don't want to get any input lag
