Hybrid SLI

Ive got two gtx 260's and am considering an upgrade. I have a hybrid SLI capable mobo and Im wondering if I can remove one of my 260's and add a 470 or 480.

Is this possible if so how does it affect performance?

Hybrid SLI is similar to hybrid crossfire, but it SLIs the IGP with a super low end GPU, it doesnt let you SLI two dissimilar cards like a GTX 260 and a GTX 470, you can only SLI a GTX 470 with another GTX470.

to my knowledge hybrid sli runs the onboard with a discrete card and it sucks
