I'm considering overclocking my i5-4690k and i'm wondering if i should buy a second fan for my cpu cooler as i've seen some cases of the hyper 212 evo with 1 fan not being enough but not always.

Solution
I tried push pull on my hyper 212 evo, it made no difference at first then i removed my rear exhaust fan and it brought down temps maybe a couple degrees, but I still ended up going back to a single fan. And there is no way to really mount a second fan so you will have to get creative unless they make aftermarket fan mounts for the 212 evo. A hyper 212 evo with a single fan should be good enough for a decent overclock on a 4690k, its good enough to get my fx 6350 to 4.7ghz with reasonable temps.
Try with a single fan and see how it performs. Adding a second fan helps, but it is not as dramatic an increase in performance as some might think.

I have used in both configurations. The results really depend on the factors unique to your system.

Good luck.
