Hyper 212 Plus Fan speed and noise problem

Hi, I just recently installed the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus fan into my rig, im running an Intel Core i7 860 on an Asus P7P55D motherboard. My fan is currently plugged into the CPU fan header. However, the main fan is constantly at maximum speed and wont back off. Would anyone know how i could remedy this? (First time builder, sorry)

Thanks for the help, I did a little bit of looking around and found a utility that will adjust my fan speeds, thank you very much though!

Fan speed control might be set to disabled in the BIOS.

Yeah, turns out, that it was disabled inside my bios, so i fixed that. Thank you very much!
