recently I upgraded to the new version of windows 10. I downloaded the new fix for my headphone(hyperx cloud 2) . The fix is called the "HyperX Cloud II Firmware Updater Rev 0010". When I try to launch it it give me the following error: Hyperx Cloud II device not found. Please, connect the device and restart the program.

My headphone is connected , and is working properly. It is found in my device manager and I tried to uninstall the driver and restarting my pc. It doesn't work. I also tried to connect to another usb port.

the 0005 version worked previously when I downloaded it last year.

Solution
Popping and crackling probably have nothing to do with your firmware.
Ive had my Cloud IIs since launch and Ive never done a single update for them. Plug and play and leave it.

However, I did have crackling issues with certain noises, it was an issue with the first generation soundcard, so they replaced it.
hi apparently the 1709 windows 10 update has really caused issues with the hyper x cloud headset my issue is that the 7.1 surround wont work and i just left in the dark tho i have Kingston trying to find a solution for me and thats what i recommend you to do is contact them
