I was playing an online game, and someone asked me where I was from, I said somewhere random as I didn’t want to give my real location.
then someone says they will get my IP and find out if I’m really from there, they then proceed to say my IP is showing up as Brighton (I’m not from Brighton) unless I’m using a VPN.
im not using a VPN, since this I have tried to download one, I have purchased NordVPN, but I can’t access their website on my PC, but every other site is available. I’m worried that I am being hacked, or that my personal details will be exposed.
do I have to do anything? I’m very new to computers, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
