I like those small two bladed helicopters for flying around in the house. They don't cost much, are a good bit of fun until the battery pack gives out...so you toss that and look forward to one in your stocking next year!
No it isn't. There's a difference between media resolution and screen resolution.Do you know what actually is a 2K monitor... 1920 x 1080. The exact thing you were saying was bad. 1920 is a of a lot closer to 2K compared to 2560. The funny thing is even Wikipedia has a list of 2K Resolutions and surprise surprise 2560 x 1440 is not on the list, but 1920 x 1080 is on that list.
Honestly Christmas as a "gift giving" holiday should be done away with as a tradition. Aside from the materialistic problem it produced, it can create awkward moments. If someone gives me a gift, I feel obligated to now do the same, of equal value, of something they want. Likewise if I do the same to them without letting them know beforehand, now I've put them in that situation. If you said any of that to me then you'd not get a present next year. Xmas is an about giving not receiving be grateful your getting a present not moan about the price they paid! Bet he was a spoilt child!
I get that whole "sense of obligation" thing. It's weird to read about gift-giving cultures where you don't just give gifts to your friends and family, but all sorts of people you interact with on a regular basis. It's almost like a social or societal tax. Probably a holdover from a time when professional jobs were underpaid relative to their value.Honestly Christmas as a "gift giving" holiday should be done away with as a tradition. My family usually gives little gifts, so no one is very stressed if their finances are tight. Ideally, a good gift says "I know you" or "I was thinking of you" because it's something perfect for the recipient that only someone who knows them would've thought to get them. Those can take a lot of work, but are usually the type of thing you buy when you see it and save for the next birthday or XMas, rather than try to shop for at the last minute.I've simply stopped expecting gifts. My family hasn't had a "traditional" Christmas since forever. I don't expect anything from my friends, and I don't expect them to ask if they want to get me anything.
While I completely agree there are a ton of garbage SSD/NVM brands out there, Nextorage is considered a high end brand owned by Phison; comparable to Samsung and so forth.
My friend was the same way initially when I told him that I picked up a SK Hynix Platinum P41 2tb instead of a Samsung 980 Pro for my gaming drive. My primary OS drive is a Samsung 980 Pro 2tb and they're both comparable.
I know what you mean. I didn't know about them either until I started researching them due to the black friday sale going on with their 4tb unit.Oh really? I didn't know that. I had never heard of the brand until Newegg started pimping them all the time.
Could say the same to you, since you bothered to respond.I think most of you should get a sense of humor, maybe step away from those PCs and get out into real social life some. Obviously Avram was being cheeky.
🤣 Mr. Piltch, the photo that heads your article, made me grin immediately. I have to ask rhetorically, who hasn't had an experience like the photo portrays at some point in their lives? What.. the.. H? Anyway, the photo did encourage me to read the article, and I agree with much that was written. I certainly have strong feelings about the keyboards I use. Personally, I'm very fond of Cherry Brown keyboards. Stay well Mr. PiltchDon’t buy these tech products as gifts for me or anyone else. Fortunately, for each one, there’s a great alternative.
I’ve been reviewing tech for 15 years. If you buy me these crappy gadgets, include a gift receipt : Read more
🤣🤣 I love the photo!! As both a student of military affairs, and Tech enthusiast. The photo makes me smile and nod my head. I am definitely going to share it with all of the people that I know that use their computers for business and/or rely on them in their personal lives. Thank you USAFRet. from USArmyRet. 😉 Stay well!👍👍Exactly.
Specific make/model, or just don't.
And for me...don't buy anything on my Amazon wish lists. That stuff is there as a placeholder, for me to look at later.
Unless there is a specific list labeled "Buy This Stuff"
...obviously referring to the pic in his .sig, in case anyone is confused. This one:🤣🤣 I love the photo!! As both a student of military affairs, and Tech enthusiast. Changes nothing about the spoiled brat attitude in the article.
