I am at a budget for my upgrade, please help me

I want to upgrade my PC and I decided to go with these specs;

Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 (3.2Ghz)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB

But the question is, can I run these two together on my motherboard and would my power be powerful enough to run?

My current specs;

Processor: AMD A4-6300 APU with HD Radeon Graphics
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8370D
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 10
Current Power: 400W
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A68M-HD+

Need a new mobo, and most likely that PSU is of poor quality so you might want to switch it out.

It will be a good upgrade, but the technology is quite old and the 960 2gb is something I would not recommend as an upgrade. What is your budget?

PSU maybe 400w, but what model and make? If it is a shoddy quality unit, you may end up killing your PC.

Any motherboard for that chipset is severely overpriced, as it is so old that the motherboards are not released anymore. You are better off looking for a 2nd hand LGA 1155 chipset mobo or a Z77 mobo.

What is your budget? That is not really an upgrade that will last for more than a year max.
