I am building a new PC and my friend put these parts together for me and I want to know if it will be good, I know all the parts are compatible but need to know if it is good or not, and my budget is about $1100 for the full pc and he said that would be about the best performance for gaming in that budget. recommend me some parts if they are better and try to stay in my price range.

I would recommend saving some money on the CPU and get a i5 3570k. The i7s big selling point is hyperthreading, used in editing and rendering not gaming.

The rest looks good, i use the phantom 410 case and love it. Super tidy and easy for a first build. The full tower is gonna be pretty big though so keep that in mind.

Just a couple of things you have not mentioned.
- Storage? Are you getting a SSD for booting and a HD for storage? Its a good setup but the price needs to be kept in mind.
- Operating system. Its easy to overlook but you need to source one, and account for its cost if you dont have a spare copy lying around.

I got you a 3770k and a better graphics card (660ti) and I got your NZXT Phantom 410!

looks great, at first i was skeptical of how fit it into 1100 bucks, might want to somehow include a ssd drive if you can. and/or make sure that the psu is 80+ certified
