Could you mention an example?
What software?
What is the file path of the autorun.inf file? (autorun.inf files in the root directory of pendrives often indicate malware infection)
Can you open the autorun.inf file in Notepad, and see it's content?
You can also look into the ownership properties and access attributes of the file.
