I have a laptop that has an m.2 ssd slot. I am looking for an SSD to go in it. I am not sure if it supports Gen 4, but a Gen 3 SSD I know that it supports. I am looking for recommendations. I want to go with a trustworthy brand. I am now thinking about 512 GB but could go as big as 1TB. I have thought about the

TEAMGROUP MP33 1TB SLC Cache 3D NAND TLC NVMe 1.3 PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Drive SSD

but am not sure if it is a brand that I can trust. I would prefer to stick with a TLC drive as this will probably be the only storage drive in my laptop. I don't want to spend too much money on this storage drive as it is a fairly barebones laptop with 4 GB of soldered memory. The other SSD that I would like to look for will need to be a 2.5 inch SSD as there is not a m.2 slot. This will be to go in another fairly barebones laptop that I intend to use for linux. I am probably going to go with a 256GB SSD, but I could go higher if it was cheaper. The drive currently in the laptop is a failed 2.5 inch HDD. The ram is upgradable to 8 GB, and it is DDR3. I don't need the SSD to be the fastest of the fast, but would like to have SSD speeds. This is a link to the crucial site with the second laptop https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/hp-2000-239wm.

I am hoping that I might find the SSDs on a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal if possible, so that I can get the most out of these laptops.

The SN850 (96 layer) and 850x (112 layer) are both TLC, before you get into the 176 layer QLC drives.

EDIT: Those are M.2 though so nvm. Sorry.
