I am not feeling my Wish List board, help!

I been planning out my new computer for weeks (and I will build it as soon as I pay off my HP, darn you, HBSC). I set up a wish list on Newegg for the parts I like. Every thing is perfect, just having doubts about my motherboard. I know I have a while to go before I build but I want to make sure I have all my ducks in order before I do. So if you have any choices or links, I would be very much thankful.

I dont noe what parts you are choosing for your computer, but looking at the motherboard, you would want to get the 965P instead of the 965G unless you are useing onboard video. Anyways, the Ds3 is a good mobo for the price, i had it before i changed to the Commando.

My doubts first off, are from the reviews mostly. I know there is no such thing as the perfect motherboard but I just don't want to be stuck out of pocket for something that might fail on me down the line. Also I don't want to spend too too much (I'm building a meduim range gamer pc).

Also, my soon to be parts will be: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13Ghz, XFX Geforce 7900 GT, 160 SATA HDD, and DVD Burner and Rom drives.

Take the reviews on newegg with a grain of salt. Alot of people who have "defective" boards are really just people that don't have a clue what they are doing and don't know how to build a pc.

You also have to remember that most people get their parts, install them, they work fine, and then they go on with their lives. The minority of people who do have issues are usually the people who are most likely to post.

To support what others have said...........

1) Get the 965P not the 965G version
2) It's a good mobo

Yeah, I got alot of that too. Most of the complaints where about that board came DOA, other were about how the board wasn't very overclockable. I am not an overclocker, just a meat and potatoes builder. If I need more power, I can always upgrade later on. Also, I like P65G because it has onboard video because I am building this in phases.

Well in regards to overclockability that is true.

The 965G has overclock issues.
The 965P does not.

This is due to the Intel Chipset, not the Mobo.
Be sure to get the one w/o the built-in graphics.

Dead Mobos can come from noobs.

I guess I can get the mobo and video card at the same time. I looked at the one zenmaster suggested it is 10 bucks cheaper than the wish list one. I guess I will switch over and start rolling my pennies, lol.
